The ProCure-UV operates at a wavelength of 395 nanometers. It cures an area of up to 60 x 60 cm with an advised distance between the emitting window and the curing surface of 5 to15 cm. Its cures up to 180 μm in depth. The average energy desity per suare centimeter measured at the curing surface is above 7mW/cm2. The ProCure-UV was tested at AkzoNobel car refinshes on its headquarter premises in the Netherlands and at PPG Belgium and Axalta Switzerland. In both tests the ProCure-UV cured AkzoNobel's Autosurfacer and PPG’s equivalent UV-paint to great satisfaction.
